A Critique of a short story "Centipede" by Jamaica Mae Pajal

                              Centipede



 Reaction Paper:
      Its all about Eddie who saw his sister beating his dog with a stick,he felt hate like acaged ,angry beast in his chest.He could not cry to his sister because she had a weah heart.He recalled the things his sister did to him.For Eddie,his sister Delia was the meanest creature he knew.He remembered when he was foriously hit by his sister when she learned that the leg of her doll was accidentally torn by him.
     Nothing Eddie did ever pleased her.Destroying anything she liked became a habit for her.She even told Berto to kill his monkey because it snickerd ar her one mornning ,while she was brushing her teeth.Eddie did not tell anything when she told her father that she did like Eddie's pigeon house because it stank and Berto had to chop the house into kindling wood.He hold him self because he knew they had to put up with her whims to keep her calm.
     But when she dumped his butterflies into a waste and burned in the backyard,he realized that she was spiting him.Eddie got a big centepede that Berto find under the stack he chopped.He made sure it was dead and placed it in white cloth.He unwrapped nd threwit on the lap of his sister whom he hated so much.
     His sister collapse .Her voice dragged off into a painstaking moan.Eddie was engulfed by a sudden feeling of pity and guilt.He cried kneeling before her,telling her that the centepede was dead.

The Centipede The story centipede by Rony V.  Diaz show violence towards man and animals. It is not appropriate for children and adults who are or have a close mind. Hate,  the reason why people did bad things,  the reason why people destroy things that matters to someone. Just like what happens in the story. The centipede Delia the sister of Eddie, is very mean girl.  She used his illness as an excuse to keep on destroying things that matters to her brother Eddie. We all know that Eddie did wrong things also to his sister Delia, but is that rational for Delia to revenge that bad. She must learn how to forgive, because after all they are brother and sister and she is the oldest. She must learn how to understand and unfold the love that keep by hate.
